Quote Of The Day
You are confined only by the walls you build yourself
Often, there are certain things that we tell ourselves about, which are out of our reach. We tend to convince ourselves that some things are not possible or cannot be done by us. But these are all the lies we are just telling ourselves. Nothing is impossible. We should not stop ourselves from doing something which is difficult. Because even if we fail, we tried.

LIFE
IS JUST LIKE A RIVER
Life is
just like a River,
Flowing
continuously as it proceeds,
Though
Short or Long,
Though
treading different routes
But
carries experiences as it goes on,
Takes and
gives,
Gives all
not things but at least kindness be,
And shares
joy and happiness,
Whilst it
goes on and on,
Enriching
yourself and all,
Enjoying
life
Not
stopping and whining
It
continues driven by intuition,
Towards
the eternity of the ocean.

BLOOD DONATION – A NOBLE DEED
Blood donation is indeed a noble Deed.
Why should we
donate blood?
Blood is the most precious gift that anyone can give to another
person, that is we literally gift life. A decision to donate your blood can
save a life, or even several if your blood is separated into its components —
red cells, platelets and plasma which can be used individually for patients
with specific conditions.
Benefits of
donating blood
Research has proven that donating blood can also be beneficial for
the donator. Some benefits are: - Reduces stress, improves our emotional
well-being, helps get rid of negative feelings, provides a sense of belonging
and reduces isolation.
I was present at a blood donation camp a few days ago, and I
witnessed a massive amount of participation from local citizens, and I was
really proud looking at that.

FOMO(Fear Of Missing Out)!

WHAT INDIA
NEED
TO DO RIGHT
IN ORDER
TO END THEIR
TROPHY
DROUGHT?
After the 2011 World Cup and 2013 Champions
Trophy triumph India has fared well in the league stages of ICC Tournaments,
but has failed to convert their great starts into victories in high- profile
knockout matches. In order to finally end their trophy drought, India would have
to do something really different in the WTC final, to ensure that their 2 yearlong
efforts to reach in the WTC final don’t go in vain. Let’s list down some of the
things that India have to get right to help win this final. Batsmen have to
score big- One of the major reasons why India hasn’t won more test matches in England
is that the batsmen haven’t collectively accumulated a lot of runs for the bowlers
to defend. India’s top 5 is star- studded line up and has tonnes of experience with
the likes of Virat Kohli, Ajinkya Rahane, Rohit Sharma and Cheteshwar Pujara.
If these batsmen along with Rishabh Pant and Ravindra Jadeja/ Ravichandran Ashwin
at the back, fire collectively, then the bowlers would get a decent target to
bowl the opposition out. A point again to be given prime importance is that the
batsmen would have to perform collectively, meaning that partnerships are essential.
It should not be so that a batsman is scoring big runs from an end but wickets
continue to fall from the other. Long partnerships will prove to be vital in
the overseas -win. India can also seek to changing its middle order batting
line up a bit. If need arises of counter- attacking the opposition bowlers,
Rishabh Pant can be sent ahead of Ajinkya Rahane, so that the opposition can be
slightly put on the back foot. The change of batting line- up may or may not be
so important, but the Indian batting line- up’s form will be of vital importance
in the WTC final.

FOOTBALL
CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FINAL PREVIEW
It’s almost here, the season
finale will see an all-English Champions League Final between City &
Chelsea. It’s just another game, and yet it is a game unlike any other. The
game will kick of this night and it promises to be a tense affair as both sides
gear up for the final showdown in Porto.
For both clubs, the
opposition is familiar, yet the circumstances are unique. And that make the
difference in such nerve-racking & nail-biting finals. Both clubs have won
the English title in the past few years, however bringing home the most coveted
trophy in club football has been a daunting task for both clubs. For Manchester
City, it is their foremost priority, as they never have never had the taste of
victory in the Champions League. A journey that started for them 13 years ago
when the club was taken over by Abu Dhabi elite could culminate on Saturday. For Chelsea, it’s a matter of bringing it back
home for the first time since their first triumph in 2012.
I don’t hesitate to say that Manchester City &
Bayern have been the benchmark in Europe this season and last season. We are
trying to close the gap and the good thing is, in football, you can close gaps
in 90 minutes.
