Quote Of The Day

Often, we imagine various devices, inventions and many more things, we hope existed today. This quote tells us that we should be brave enough to bring those ideas into reality. If we have the courage and means to materialize our dreams, our imagination becomes our only limit.

Have a good day!😀

BOOK REVIEW: THE SILENT PATIENT

Alex Michaelides’ ‘The Silent Patient’ is a psychological thriller that makes you forget everything else, as you fall deeper into the story, not at all seeing the twisty climax coming. It follows the story of a forensic psychotherapist Theo, who decides to take up the case of Alicia; a patient who hasn’t, at all, spoken a word since her beloved husband’s death. She’d killed him, shooting him five times, no less. Alicia’s silence holds a much deeper meaning, a truth that can turn everything upside down. All she has done after the tragedy, was paint a picture with a single word at the bottom. Now Theo must make her speak to find out the truth. So, we join Theo’s sessions with her and also get to see Alicia’s diary entries, giving us a glimpse of her earlier life... Both their (Alicia and Theo's) backstory—threads connect in the most unimaginable way possible…

Up for some psycho-thrill? Certainly, pick this one up.

FITNESS – MORE THAN JUST A DESIRE

What is being fit?

And the most important question is why should you be fit? Is it only about looks?

Being fit means having good health mainly because of physical exercises. But, doing only physical exercises may not always help, you should have a proper and a firm diet to remain fit. The answer to why you should be fit is very easy and frank, you should be fit to be immune to every new disease and virus which is around us. Regular exercise and physical activity promotes strong muscles and bones. It improves respiratory, cardiovascular health, and overall health. Staying active can also help you maintain a healthy weight, reduce your risk for type 2 diabetes, heart disease and some cancers.

I love physical exercises, may it be through sports or body weight exercises or weights. I really call myself a workaholic because now I just cannot spend any day without releasing sweat from my body. Right now, I am pursuing badminton and calisthenics (Meaning of calisthenics is body weight exercises) And both help me be in perfect shape. Right now my goal is to have a physique better than yesterday. Fitness is now like meditation to me.

I want everyone to pursue something which will keep themselves fit and healthy. Not only does it affect us physically but also psychologically, from easing symptoms of depression and anxiety to keeping our memory sharp, there’s no shortage of mental benefits of exercise. Even just moderate exercise throughout the week can work against depression and anxiety, so much so that some doctors recommend trying out an exercise regimen for these conditions before turning to medication.

So let’s boost our morale by having the perfect shape because a fit and healthy person is less prone to chronic diseases and a healthy mind is better in pressure situations.

AUTUMN BREEZE

When we are left abandoned, We tend to wipe away our despair. Though it is usually the right thing to do, It just tends to leave us impaired. Some turns are taken out of the blue, Which oppresses us to abandon hope. But we cling to the fact that all this will end, And we will no longer be on a tightrope. During all this I know for a fact, that life is not all grief and sorrow. We may have suffered today, But there will always be a better tomorrow. Even though it’s all so tough, And I may struggle through it all. Everyone will see me tussle, But never will they see me fall. There will surely come a day, Those tears will no longer shed. There will be blue skies and foamy waves, and me under it free from the dread. Finally free from the crippling afflictions, I sit leaning against a majestic tree. Thinking to myself in the Autumn breeze, What this freedom really means to me.

After WTC loss, the Indian middle order to be completely revamped for England Series?

Indian  skipper hinted at bringing in people with the right mindset and intent to the team after India's loss at the WTC final. India's middle order has been quite inconsistent in the last few series. Cheteshwar Pujara hasnt been able to perform quite well in the last couple of years. His last exceptional series comes out to be India's tour of Australia in 2018 where he was seen to be sublime form. Though he played an important role in India's historic win down under in 2020-21, he wasnt scoring runs then. Ajinkya Rahane has been very much inconsistent in his performance. No doubt he has some great innings in the WTC cycle and he is also the leading run scorer for India, but his great innings have been surrounded by many bad innings. Nobody knows when suddenly that great innings will be played by him. Virat Kohli's bad form in the recent times has added oil to the fire. The middle order not performing consistently puts more pressure on the top and lower order. In England, you cant expect much from the openers and the lower order is performing quite well. When Virat Kohli was in prime form and Cheteshwar Pujara at his best with Rahane pitching in with his majestic innings from time to time meant that it was perfect middle order for India. But that does that mean, India should restructure whole of its middle order? The only way to do that is bringing Mayank Agarwal or KL Rahul for Shubman Gill at the top, pushing either Gill or Rahul instead of Pujara and replacing Rahane by Hanuma Vihari. But this has to done in stages. Gill played well in the middle order and I think he should be given more chances in the middle order as he is naturally not an opening batsman. Some mix and matching can be done between Rahul, Gill and Vihari to select the middle order. But this dosent seem as a good decision to me. Pujara and Rahane should be given more chances and they would definitely perform, cause they are world class players. India should avoid take a decision in haste and should come to a conclusion only after proper inspection of the matter.
