Boryeong Mud Festival, South Korea
Date: 17th to 20th July
Slipping, sliding, swimming, throwing, wearing, wrestling – whatever you like to do with your mud, you can do in Boryeong, South Korea, during the annual Mud Fest. (Be careful with the throwing, though.) Going strong since 1999, there is no real backstory behind this one. It's just fun, and the parties surrounding the mud-based activities prove it. Better yet? Apparently, the mud in Boryeong is high in minerals, and can-do wonders for plumping and brightening your skin. The mud is considered rich in minerals and used to manufacture cosmetics. The festival was originally conceived as a marketing vehicle for Boryeong mud cosmetics. For the period of the festival several large attractions are erected in the seafront area of Daecheon. These include a mud pool, mud slides, mud prison and mud skiing competitions No wonder thousands from all over South Korea, Europe, and the Americas flock to take part.

Book review: The Daring Book for Girls
My opinion :
It's a beautiful compilation of numerous things, relatable to any individual, to be precise, any female. It comprises of tales of women spies like Mary Read, Anne Bonny who risked their lives in accomplishing their ambitions, warriors like the Joan of Arc who dared to sacrifice her life for the country, Pilots like Earheart, whose unknown victories opened up new horizons for girls to soar high in the skies. Wonder women like Indira Gandhi, Anne Frank who dared to face criticism, violence at it's maximum yet powered the ability to change the scenario, eventually the world. The book is also inclusive of a few unusual yet daring tasks for girls, a fun introduction to a few games, and a peep into French language. It really compels you to read till the last word. It's a treasure of lifely pleasures, which every young woman should possess.
Such books are really unique who have a blend of all these things together in one go. Today's girls are transforming into smart and strong ones. The book is reaching out to all these needs , thereby elevating their lives.
